AM11 artist Kameelah Janan Rasheed talks about her work with a panel of peers, experts and fellow artists
Kameelah Janan Rasheed in conversation with Amaka Obioma, an artist and curator who’s practice explores the intersection of interanimacy and performance, spirituality, and syncretic systems through a poststructuralist lens, and Anushiye Yarnell, an interdisciplinary performance artist whose work spans movement, sound, voice, text, drawing and participatory alternative pedagogies.
The At The Table series brings together the voices of the six AM11 artists alongside those of international curators, artists, historians, thinkers and writers in a series of roundtable discussions. The talks centre on themes and ideas present in the artist’s work and the interwoven relationship between histories and practices, locally to internationally.
